Terms of Service

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Ambulance Wala: people booking an ambulance, the drivers and crews who serve those bookings, and the staff who run the service. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

In a life-threatening emergency, call 112 (or 108 for a government ambulance) first. Ambulance Wala does not replace public emergency services.

1. What Ambulance Wala does

Ambulance Wala is a booking and dispatch platform. It connects people who need ambulance transport with verified ambulance drivers and operators, and helps our staff assign, track and support each trip.

Medical care during a trip is provided by the ambulance crew, not by the app. Arrival times shown in the app are estimates and depend on traffic, distance and which ambulances are available nearby.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to create an account. A parent or guardian can book for a minor.
  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Give accurate details, especially the pickup location, patient contact number and any information the crew needs.
  • If you book for someone else, make sure you are allowed to share their details with us and the crew.

3. Bookings, fares and payment

  • Before you confirm, the app shows a fare estimate for the ambulance type you choose. The final fare is based on the actual trip and the fare rules shown in the app, and may include waiting time or extra distance.
  • You can pay by the methods the app offers for your booking, such as cash to the crew or online payment. Online payments are processed by our payment partner; we never store your card details.
  • A booking is confirmed only when a driver accepts it. If no ambulance is available, we will tell you as soon as we can.
  • You can cancel a booking from the app. A cancellation charge may apply once a driver is on the way; the app shows it before you cancel.

4. Drivers and ambulance operators

  • Drivers must hold a valid driving licence and keep their ambulance registration, fitness, insurance and permits current. We check these documents before a driver can accept trips and may ask for them again.
  • Drivers must follow traffic laws, treat patients and families with care, and use patient details only to complete the trip.
  • Drivers share their location only while they are online or on a trip.

5. Acceptable use

Do not make false or prank bookings, abuse or threaten crews or staff, misuse other people's information, or try to interfere with the app or its security. We may cancel bookings and suspend accounts that do.

6. Our responsibility

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that an ambulance will always be available or arrive by a particular time. To the extent the law allows, Ambulance Wala is not liable for delays or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as traffic, weather, network failures or incorrect information provided to us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

7. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data, including location and patient details, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will show the date of the latest version on this page and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Ambulance Wala after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. For questions or complaints, contact us at info@nextdevera.com.
